Brownies

4th SMS Brownie Pack

Lord Baden-Powell was the founder of the world scouting movement. He thought that “Brownies” would be a fitting name for young girls who could learn to help their families and communities. Being a Brownie is about helping girls develop self-esteem, leadership skills, coping with life skills, confidence and the ability to take care of themselves.

At St Michaels we all gather together once a week where weintroduce girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun.

We strive to work towards earning eight Brownie Adventure badges. The themes include Busy Brownie Adventure, Brownie Steps Adventure, Stardom Adventure, Out and About Adventure, Careful Hands Adventure, Girl Power Adventure, Creative Magic Adventure and the Green Kingdom Adventure.

Joining this Brownie Pack and Girl Guides Association is an opportunity for our girls to become part of a worldwide organisation called WAGGGS.
