St Michael’s takes part in the official South African Debating League for schools. We entered two teams in the A – League which includes Grade 10, 11 and 12 learners and two teams for the B-League which includes Grade 8 and 9.

The girls at St Michael’s are keen debaters who practise twice a week. Before competitions the number of practise times increase. We accomplished top achievers who, at University level, have competed internationally for their respective universities.
